A: What is your favorite ballet?

- My favorite ballet’s are La Bayadere and Romeo and Juliet.

B: Favorite female dancer?

- My favorite female dancers are Evgenia Obraztsova and Natalia Osipova.

D: Best ballet memory?

- My two favorite memories are, 1. when I completed 32 fouettes for the first time and 2. when the professional class at my dance studio came in in super hero costumes on halloween.

Q: Favorite dance related tv show/movie/book/etc.?

- My favorite dance related tv show is NORMAL Dance Moms. Not Miami. My favorite dance related movie is center stage. My favorite dance related book is Dancing On My Grave by Gelsey Kirkland.

S: Favorite thing about ballet?

- My favorite thing about ballet is how rewarding it is. Also that it is so beautiful.

V: Favorite company?

- The Paris Opera Ballet

W: Do you compete?

- I am not a “competition dancer.” I compete in Youth America Grand Prix every year and that’s it. I do not compete every weekend.

T: What is your least favorite thing about ballet?

- My least favorite thing is how I end up thinking so negatively about myself. I have such high expectations for myself and if I don’t meet them, then I get upset.

X: Do you honestly think you’re a good dancer?

- I think that I am a decent dancer. I am good for my studio and my studio is pretty prestigious. I think it is a 50-50 chance of me becoming a professional dancer.

Y: Have you ever wanted to quit?

- No I have never wanted to quit. I have felt a little tires of ballet and felt a bit burnt out. But I have never wanted to quit. Dancing is what makes me happy.

Z: Why do you dance?

- I dance because it makes me happy. I love the way it feels to move. I love being on the stage and under the lights. I love how ballet is so hard and that I need to work hard to get where I want to be.

Today was the PBS 4th annual Spring Gala cast party! It was really fun and I think that everyone had a great time. It’s really fun to just hang out together for a day and not be stressed out about ballet. We really needed it. Every year we get closer and closer and become a stronger family. I love you guys <3
